Not far up the road
from the house is a large patch of forest with lots of paths running
through it. Around one section is a fitness course with various bars
and poles and so forth, and there are also longer trails for
snow-shoeing. This is all ideal for walking Bella, and after
breakfast today we took her up and let her off the leash. As she's
only a year old, we suspect that this is some of the first snow she
has seen and she had a great time haring here and there through the
deep powder. She wasn't quite so keen on the big balls of ice that
developed on her fur and kept stopping to try to gnaw them off.
