The past few days
have been warm and sunny, and the snow has pretty much melted away in
the open areas. This afternoon (Sunday) we went for a long walk along
the road and then up the hill, where we joined the snowshoeing trail
along which we had walked a few days ago – which was still a bit
snowy and/or icy in places. When we started our stroll, we discovered
just how popular this area is with walkers of all ages. Every few
minutes we were were greeted with a smile and 'Bonjour', Bella
barking the whole time at these terrible, threatening strangers.
